Funciones "The Securities & Derivatives Analyst – Maker (C10) is responsible for the accurate processing, validation, and settlement of Markets transactions (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Money Market) managed by CSC Markets Colombia for LATAM countries. The role ensures compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and Citi policies, while mitigating operational, legal, and reputational risks. Responsibilities Process and settle Markets transactions accurately and within established timelines. Ensure compliance with Citi policies, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Perform transaction validations to guarantee data quality and documentation integrity. Maintain Maker/Checker segregation and proper use of system entitlements. Identify, escalate, and support resolution of operational exceptions and risks. Ensure complete and auditable documentation in corporate systems. Execute end-of-day controls and ensure no outstanding items remain. Support audits, MCA activities, and control reviews with accurate evidence. Participate in process improvements, standardization initiatives, and global forums. Maintain updated knowledge of systems, products, and mandatory training. Support business continuity and contingency testing activities. Qualifications Knowledge of Markets products (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Money Market). Understanding operational risk, internal controls, and fraud prevention. Familiarity with financial regulations and transaction lifecycle processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Effective communication and teamwork skills in multicultural environments. Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset. High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and risk culture. Education Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Experience Desired Experience in financial operations, preferably in back-office, middle-office, or control functions. Basic knowledge of treasury, reconciliations, accounting, and transaction settlement. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
